womenhack Lisbon 2022 is a conference and hackathon taking place in Portugal, Lisboa. We value the participation of each member and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees throughout the duration of the hackathon. To clarify what is expected, all attendees and all participants at this hackathon must follow the following Rules & Code of Conduct - Organizers will enforce this code during the event.
Each hack submission will be judged solely on the quality of the work completed during the duration of the hackathon.
If you use pre-existing code in your project, you need to disclose all information in your submission. If, upon inspection, you present work that appears to have been completed before the hackathon began that you did not disclose, you will need to explicitly point out how your new work differs from old work.
NOTE: Historically, projects that use a majority of pre-existing work do not score as high in the judging as projects which present wholly new and novel approaches - the whole point of this hackathon is to create.
Women Hack Lisbon 2022 is a place for creative collaboration, learning, and sharing. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and other negative behaviour at our events.
"Harassment" includes but is not limited to offensive verbal or written comments or other online activity related to gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, physical appearance, race, religion, sexual images, deliberate intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If participants fail to comply they will be banned from all channels and access to the event.
Sponsors, judges, mentors, volunteers, organizers, Women Hack Lisbon 2022 staff and anyone else at the event are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, attendees should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material both in their hacks and during the event.
Be careful and mindful of the words that you choose at all times. Remember that sexist, racist, and other exclusionary comments and hacks will be discualified.
